About this opportunity

This solicitation will enable more strategic and high-value implementation of energy storage in transmission, distribution, and customer domains to support grid reliability and achievement of clean energy policy goals. Additionally, it will support demonstrations that benefit historically under-resourced communities at risk of being left behind in the clean energy transition. Projects must fall within the following project groups: · Group 1: Applied Research and Development (R&D) to Improve Energy Storage Value, Safety, and Sustainability; and · Group 2: Multiple-Use Case Demonstrations for Equitable Energy Storage Value Stacking.
