Resource Conservation Districts (RCDs), California public universities and colleges, Tribes, Local or regional government agencies, State agricultural marketing programs, and federal marketing programs that represent California commodities Non-profits including, but not limited to: Groundwater Sustainability Agencies, Irrigation districts, Land trusts, Non-profit industry organizations

About this opportunity

In summary, awardees of the program will: 1) provide technical assistance to farmers in development and implementation of irrigation projects, 2) identify on-farm projects for financial support and disburse funds, 3) Support and verify on-farm project implementation, 4) provide reporting and invoicing. The minimum award is $2 million, the maximum award is $5 million. Awardees will prioritize socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers (as defined by the Farm Equity Act of 2017) for technical assistance and financial support.

Funding geography: Eligible entities must be located in California with a California business address.
