The ETPP will develop skill-based pathways by integrating education and workforce training programs to align with the specific needs of the state’s strategic industry sectors which will will not only ensure that individuals are connected to good-quality jobs but become better prepared to enter high-demand fields which aligns with the Governor’s People’s First and the Jobs First initiatives to help connect California workers to jobs and promote sustainable growth of the state’s economy. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to leverage a minimum of 20 percent of their budget with funds or services from other sources.
